Authorities are set to intensify checks on animal feed producers and
traders and pig farmers and slaughter houses around the country, an
official from the Animal Husbandry Department told a conference in HCM
City on Friday.
Viet Nam produces around four million tonnes of rice bran a year from
milling rice, but since no rice bran extract is produced domestically,
animal-feed producers depend completely on imports.
